This is a day tour to south lombok, we will take you to visit (1) Banyumulek well known as Lombok pottery village; (2) Sukarara, the traditional craft of weaving center; (3) Sada Traditional Village; (4) Kuta/Tanjung Aan Beach and sunset at Bukit Merese South Lombok.
Time of pick up will be depend on your location. If you stay Around Mataram City or Senggigi Area pick up will be at 09:00.
First stop will be at Banyumulek Village (+- 1 Hour drive). This village is one of pottery centres in Lombok island. In Banyumulek village, making pottery is a job that has been done for sasak Lombok tribe for generations. The job has been able to move the village economic wheel and attract many visitors and buyers to come to this village.
Next stop is about 1 hour from banyumulek village, Its call Sukarare Village. Sukarara Village is the name of a lovely little village and is one of the traditional craft of weaving center (Called SONGKET). Most of the women in this village Sukarara worked as a weaver. To maintain and preserve the culture and traditional weaving are inherited by their ancestors in the village so the women Sukarara is required to learn to weave, even from an early age children of their parents have inherited his skills and teach their daughters to weave with initial motive or the motive is very simple to more easily understood and learned by their children how to weave a good and right to get a good quality woven later. You can buy songket here as souvenir.
Another 1 hour from Sukarare, you will visit Rambitan Sada Traditional village. There are many traditional houses and rice sheds here. The building permit doesn’t allow the construction of modern houses with red paned roofs here. The traditional houses have a platform inside which is built one meter above the ground, and is made of a mixture of clay, droppings and straw, which is polished into a shining floor. The roof is made from natural products, the walls are made from bamboo or palm leafs. Sade, a village with just more than 150 farmers families, has a big number of had shaped rice sheds on pillars (lumbung), which have become the symbol of Lombok.
Last destination is Kuta & Aan Beach at the south coast. Enjoying the sun light with Chrystal clear water and some beautiful hill. Lunch will be serve at a local restaurant here. After 1-2 Hours, the tour will be finish and we drive you back to the hotel.
